Clinical Hypnotherapy Foundation Level Training

Hypnotherapy Training

Hypnotherapy is becoming a common treatment for many common ailments today, everything from pain to managing everyday stress. There have many studies over the years which have explained the psychology behind hypnotherapy's success as a therapeutic treatment.

As people are increasingly seeking healthy natural alternatives to traditional pharmaceutical medications, hypnotherapy is becoming a common solution to many of today's common problems.

The psychology behind hypnotherapy is based on the power of subconscious suggestion. The subconscious is a powerful force in the mind which works independently of the conscious mind. Subconscious choices often outweigh rational conscious goals as many dieters and smokers can tell you.

The subconscious controls many aspects of our lives including how we react to certain situations, how are emotions come into play, and carries the motives behind our bad habits and inappropriate behavior. By tapping into the subconscious through hypnotherapy, trained professionals are able to use the psychology of the subconscious to improve people's lives and start creating healthy habits and lifestyle choices.

Patients are placed into a hypnotic state which opens the subconscious to suggestion. Hypnotherapy has even proven effect among patients who are convinced that they are incapable of being hypnotised.

This Foundation level course is designed so that the student may learn the basic skills of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy while providing a strong bridge towards the Diploma and Advanced Diploma Levels. The course will allow the student to learn about Hypnotherapy and also how to induce a therapeutic trance-like state in their clients to help in treating symptoms such as smoking, weight loss, stress, phobias, depression, anxiety, pre-exam jitters, concentration lapses and improving memory.

This course combines the practical hands-on course work together with course notes, audio recordings and a prescribed and required reading list, all of which help the student to accumulate the necessary basic skills of a certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. The course requires 56 hours of practical training taking place over four weekends, with each weekend contributing towards 14 hours of overall training.

The student will become aware of the many advantages and benefits of training in Hypnosis and therapy before finally committing to the ICHP Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy. The course will also teach the student to deal with their personal issues and to realise their true potential for a successful future career in Hypnotherapy-Psychotherapy.
